What is Miragano?

Miragano is a swipe-first dating app where every member is photo verified and says what they're looking for before they can match. It's built to get real people on real dates: you swipe, match, plan the date in the chat, and use free safety tools like the Safe Date Check-in.

Is Miragano free?

Yes. Miragano is free to join and free to date on. Free members get a daily like allowance, streak rewards, messaging with every match, photo verification and every safety tool. Optional paid plans (Plus, Premium and Elite) add extras like unlimited likes and seeing who likes you.

Paid plans open with the app store launch. Safety is never a premium feature: verification, reporting, blocking, check-ins and emergency information are free for everyone, on every plan.

How many likes do I get a day?

Free members get 25 likes a day, and the allowance resets at midnight in your own time zone. Keep a streak going by swiping at least once a day and you get 3 bonus likes on each of those days. Paid plans include unlimited likes.

Streak milestones add more: a Super Like on day 3, a Boost on day 7, a Rose on day 14 and a 3 day Premium trial on day 30. Free members also get 1 Super Like a week.

What does "intent" mean on Miragano?

Intent is what you're looking for, and everyone picks one: a long-term relationship, short-term but open to long, marriage, something casual, new friends, or still figuring it out. Discover only shows you people whose intent is compatible with yours, so nobody has to guess.

Is Miragano on iPhone and Android?

Not yet. The iOS and Android apps are coming. Today Miragano runs as a web app at app.miragano.com, which works in the browser on your phone or computer. Your account will carry over to the apps when they launch, so there's no need to wait.

How does Wingmate (invite a friend) work?

Wingmate lets you invite friends with your personal link. When a friend you invited joins and gets photo verified, you both get a free Boost. You can earn rewards for up to 10 invites a month, and friends can write a short vouch that appears on your profile once it's reviewed.

Rewards only count for real, verified friends. There are no fake referrals and no rewards for unverified sign-ups.

How does photo verification work?

Every member takes a live selfie while copying a random pose shown on screen. We match that selfie to the photos on their profile. When the automatic check isn't sure, a person on our team reviews it. Only verified members appear in Discover, so everyone you see has passed.

Is my verification selfie stored?

Only briefly. Your selfie is encrypted, only our verification team can view it, and it's deleted as soon as a decision is made, or after 30 days at most. It's used only to check that you match your profile photos, it's never added to your profile, and other members never see it.

Does photo verification mean someone is safe?

No. Photo verification shows that a member is a real person who matches their photos. It doesn't check ID documents, legal names, criminal records or intentions. It removes a lot of catfishing, but you should still meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your gut.

How do I report or block someone?

Open your chat with them and choose report or block. A report asks what happened (for example a fake profile, harassment, a scam or a safety concern) and lets you block them at the same time. Blocking is instant: it ends any match and hides you from each other.

Reports are reviewed by people on our moderation team. Reports about someone underage or a safety concern are treated as urgent.

Is reporting free?

Yes. Reporting is free for everyone, and so is blocking, photo verification, the Safe Date Check-in and emergency information. Safety is never a premium feature on Miragano and it never will be. No plan, upgrade or streak is ever needed to report someone or get help.

What is a Safe Date Check-in?

A Safe Date Check-in is a free tool for an accepted date. You add a trusted contact and pick a check-in time. At that time we ask if you're OK. If you don't answer within 30 minutes, we email your contact once with your date's first name, the place and the time.

Who can see my check-in?

Only you and the trusted contact you choose. Your date is never told that you set up a check-in, and nothing in the app shows it to them. Your contact gets one confirmation email with a one-click opt-out, and check-ins are deleted 30 days after the date.

Can I hide my profile?

Yes. Pause your account in settings and you disappear from Discover straight away, while your matches and chats stay put. Pausing is free and you can come back whenever you like. Premium members can also turn on Incognito, which only shows them to people they've liked.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, prompts, likes, matches and their messages, check-ins, settings and sign-in details. Reports other members made about an account are kept, without your details attached, so our safety team keeps its record. You can delete your account from settings at any time.
